October 2, 2019 | Red Deer, AB – The second annual MNP Rising Stars Junior Canadian Finals Rodeo event is set to return to the 46th Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) in Red Deer this fall. A total of 46 contestants will compete in the Westerner Park Centrium on Saturday, November 2 from 1-3 pm for the title of 2019 Rising Stars Junior CFR Champion. The junior competitors were selected based on Canadian high school rodeo standings, which includes each Provincial Champion who will represent their home province in the national arena.

Contestants for the Rising Stars Rodeo Queen Competition have also been announced. The brand new event goes hand-in-hand with the mission of the Rising Stars Junior Canadian Finals Rodeo: providing youth in rodeo an opportunity to showcase their talents, and compete in the same setting as their idols.
The official 2019 Rising Stars Rodeo Queen Competition contestants are Gracie Chapple, Evie Neubauer, Ember Schira, Sadie Henn, and Hailey Milligan.
Each of these young women are between the ages of 13 and 17 and stand as ambassadors for the sport of rodeo. The CFR is proud to welcome these young ladies & athletes to Westerner Park at the end of the month.
