Canadian Finals Rodeo
Held in Edmonton for the past 44 years, the 45th edition of the CFR will bring together world-class athletes (both human and animal) for a weeklong celebration of rodeo and the rebellious freedom of the western lifestyle that lives strong in Red Deer and Central Alberta. The new CFR brand, which will be unveiled on August 25, is a striking representation of the spirit of rodeo that is deeply rooted in the region. “The new brand for the 2018 CFR is bigger, louder and bolder than ever. It’s rodeo through-and-through, and we’re beyond excited to show it off,” says Jeff Robson, CPRA Spokesperson. “Rodeo has always been a way of life in Red Deer County, and we’re thrilled to contribute to that culture with an exciting new brand that has really found its home. This isn’t our first rodeo – a new era of CFR begins on August 25.”
The CFR in Red Deer brings with it an anticipated $20 million for the Central Alberta region, a significant economic boost, and will allow both locals and tourists to experience the untamed spirit of the rodeo and the top-ranked athletes it draws.
